Therapeutic Support Worker
Upto £26,000 plus £8 per sleep-in.

Ironstone Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for a Therapeutic Support Worker to join a warm & professional team in a homely environment caring for children aged 7-12 years. The home provides a healing place where traumatised children are nurtured, helping them to thrive and build their futures.
Working as part of a Team, you will be given full support by the Registered Manager as well as on-going training. You will be working closely with experienced clinical & educational Psychologists, Psychotherapists & Occupational Therapists.
You will need:
A good general education with a willingness to further your skills through a Level 3 Diploma.
Be able to work as part of a team, making appropriate decisions.
Be aware of safeguarding issues & the regulatory framework.
Commitment to anti-discriminatory practices & an ability to deal with the emotional demands of the work.
Good IT & communication skills.
A full UK driving licence is desirable.
You will also be required to work public holidays, attend residential holidays and possibly work some unsociable hours.
The successful applicant will receive upto £26,000 per annum working a 40 hour week, with upto 8 sleep-ins a month, at £35 per sleep-in.
