Salary: 28,980 – 36.050 plus sleep ins. Sleep-ins £50.00 per sleep.

Ironstone Recruitment has an excellent opportunity for a Children’s home Deputy Manager based in Salisbury Wiltshire. The provision is for up to four children aged 6 – 12 on admission. You will be an experienced Deputy Manager working in an environment and culture where children are respected, listened to, and involved in as many decisions as possible.​The home is easily commutable from towns such as Fordingbridge, Salisbury, Wilton, Amesbury, Romsey and Andover.

​​As the Deputy Manager, you will support the registered manager in the day to day running of the home, support the continued development of a team of Residential Child Care Workers who help and support our children, who have experienced Adverse Childhood Experiences and trauma, using our trauma informed practices, which are embedded within our culture.

​You will need to have at least 2 years’ experience of being a Deputy Manager working in a Children’s Residential Setting, hold your level 5 in leadership and management or be prepared to work toward it, is desirable a minimum of Level 3 in Children and Young Peoples Work Force, have a proven track record with Ofsted, Legislative Framework

​Due to the location of the Home a Driving Licence is Essential

The home Team.

They are a friendly group of 18 residential workers. The Home is situated in a quiet residential area and looks like any other spacious, well maintained family home. There is a big, lawned garden and large living room, allowing the children to play, have fun, and socialise all year round.

Hours​

​On average 39 hours a week on a Rota Basis – some flexibility will be needed to ensure the smooth running of the home.

​30 days (22 days plus 8 bank holidays) annual leave allowance​
