An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Social Worker as part of our existing service based in Oldham to help grow our Fostering Service in developing a recruitment plan to expand our local footprint.

The post holder will require creativity, flexibility, and the ability to travel within the service area to plan and deliver recruitment events to expand our Foster Carer Family and capacity to provide high quality foster placements for children.

This is a forward-facing role working in communities, seeking out opportunities to engage with perspective candidates who may wish to become approved Foster Carers. You will have experience of working within Fostering the Fostering Sector, either with an IFA or in the Local Authority. You will need the skills and knowledge to enable the completion of initial home visits through to Form F assessment and presentation at an independent panel.

​You will work with and be supervised by the Operations Manager for Service Development and the local Fostering Service Manager will also support you to meet the aspirations we have to grow our service.
